Marc Brandenburg, born to an US-American father and a german mother in Berlin, spent his childhood in the USA. In 1977 he returned to Berlin. »There is nothing imaginative in my work, the imagery is connected strictly to everyday life. The work kind of functions like a psychadelic documentary.«
Marc Brandenburg, Sohn eines amerikanischen Vaters und einer deutschen Mutter, wurde in Berlin geboren. Nachdem er seine Kindheit in den USA verbrachte, kehrte er 1977 nach Berlin zurück. »Phantasie ist komplett aus meiner Arbeit verbannt, mein Bildarchiv ist komplett mit dem gegebenen Alltag verbunden. Die Arbeit funktioniert wie eine Art psychedelischer Dokumentarfilm.«
